Pregnancy, Birth Preparation, Massage and Baby Communication
Respectful loving touch in prenatal massage and birth preparation is essential to make pregnancy and birth a unique nurturing experience in full consciousness.
I start as a qualified Play Therapist. I graduated from the Roehampton Institute of London and I have worked in different countries with children in need.
I have worked with both children placed in institution for severe family abuse and children experiencing emotional difficulties in relation to their environment. I specifically work to reinforce the mutual understanding of children and parents and help them find ways to communicate in a serene manner.
Over the years, my practice with young children in need experiencing difficult relationships with their care takers has brought me to understand the importance of pregnancy and birth in the journey of a human being into life.
I decided to study further and qualified as an "Affective Birth Preparation Practitioner", which aims at supporting future parents becoming very present and conscious about the process of birth. My aim is to facilitate the communication between parents and their babies in order to help them have a great start of life together. Pregnancy and birth can have a huge impact on the development of human being and some patterns and believe systems can already start implementing themselves in the baby as early as that.
Following that, I realized the importance of Touch and decided to train in Global Massage with a specialization in Prenatal, Postnatal and Baby Massage.
I also studied babies in a specific way with the "Baby Observation according to Ester Bick's method" with Dr Annette Wattillon in Brussels and with "Baby Talk" with Brigitte Denis, which is a method to communicate with babies in the womb or babies already born in order to deconstruct the false believe systems they may have and help parents understand their child's inner world deeply and support the emotions they are living through.
In all of my experiences with children and parents, I only ever consider my self as a facilitator, I don't have a magic wound, I don't have knowledge that is above my clients'. Parents know their children better than anyone and all it takes sometimes is a little step back and tools to go deeply into the communication in order to ease tensions and understand each other's processes for a more harmonious life together.
I am passionate about my work, I find babies the most fascinating beings, and I hope that more and more babies will be helped and understood right from the start in order to grow into well balanced happy adults for a better world for all.Like Osteopathy, yoga and other gentle approaches, affective birth preparation, massage and Baby talk, can really help pregnancy, birth and the beginning of life be a happy experience in full consciousness.
I also teach parents how to massage their babies and how to help their babies adapt to the reality of their new world.
I coach pregnant women in taking good care of themselves throughout their pregnancy and provide them with both physical and emotional support.
